#BmoreBoricuas Project is designed to gather the current local boricua narrative of Baltimore in the form of oral stories, artifacts, and artworks, while also archiving the deep-rooted history of Puerto Ricans who migrated to Baltimore from 1900-present. The goal is to shape the foundation of this narrative in Baltimore through a creative lens, build capacity and understanding of the local Puerto Rican story, and provide a creative opportunity for others to learn about the rich culture of Puerto Rico and those that migrated to the U.S. Mainland, with the focus on Baltimore.
