About the event

Join photographer and Tola's Room Creative Director Christina Delgado for an introductory digital photography workshop designed for beginners and anyone looking to strengthen their creative eye. In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore the fundamentals of digital photography, including camera functions, composition, lighting, and visual storytelling.

After learning the basics, participants will create a sun print (cyanotype) inspired by photography's earliest processes before putting their new skills into practice during a guided photo scavenger hunt through Herring Run Park. Along the way, you'll learn how to see your surroundings in new ways while building confidence behind the camera.

All materials are provided, including a digital camera rental, so no prior experience or equipment is necessary. Whether you're interested in photography as a creative hobby or the beginning of a new artistic practice, this workshop offers a welcoming environment to learn, experiment, and connect with others through the art of image making.

Ages: 12+ (minors must be accompanied by an adult)
