PR Weekend Baltimore: "BmoreBoricuas: A Living Archive of Puerto Ricans in Baltimore" screening

Join Tola’s Room and Old Major for an unforgettable evening celebrating a major milestone in Tola’s Room history, the grand premiere of our first documentary short entitled BmoreBoricuas: A Living Archive of Puerto Ricans in Baltimore.

Presented as part of PR Weekend Baltimore 2026, this second evening honors and uplifts many of the voices and lived experiences of Baltimore’s Puerto Rican community through visual storytelling.  In true Tola’s Room tradition, this premiere is more than a film screening, it is a community gathering rooted in celebration, memory, and cultural pride. Following the screening, there will be a Q&A conversation about the making of the documentary and the importance of preserving Puerto Rican narratives in Baltimore. The evening will continue with music and dancing featuring a set by DJ Justjuwit on the second level and karaoke on the first level. You don’t want to miss it!
