PR Weekend Baltimore: SIDE B - BAILE SOL

On Sunday, June 15th, we’re bringing Borikén to Stem & Vine with Side B: Baile Sol, A Downtown Day Party with a full-body, full-flavor experience where bomba meets vinyl and the block stays hot. This isn’t just an event — it’s a gathering for the papis who still know the words to every Cortijo joint, and the new school holding it down with fresh crates and even fresher fades.

As the barriles call out across the space, Los Bomberos de la Calle will pull you into the heartbeat of bomba — skirts twirling, feet stomping, voices rising. Just rhythm, up close and personal. Don Q is stepping in with an all-vinyl set that goes deep — salsa dura, boogaloo, Latin funk, and Afro-Caribbean gems that never left the needle. Nothing digital. Just pure, analog fire.

This is Side B, after all — where the deep cuts live. We’re flipping the record and throwing a pop-up vinyl shop and swap that honors the collectors, the diggers, the storytellers. Bring your wax. Trade some heat. Find that record you didn’t know you needed.

In between sets, grab a fresh fade from Rios Cuts, roll slow at our cigar popup, or sip your way through island-crafted rum from Puerto Rico Distillery. And when the cravings hit? The Empanada Lady has you covered with a custom menu full of golden, flaky goodness — island-inspired, made with love, and guaranteed to slap.
